Brighton to win at home to Ipswich Town
The highflying Seagulls have gone off the boil a little, suffering their first league defeat of the season just before Christmas to Middlesbrough, but can get back on track against Ipswich.

Although it’s a concern that the visitors are in great form away from home, Brighton are a very difficult team to beat and look solid enough to keep their promotion push going.

Cardiff City to win at home to Nottingham Forest
This is a clash of two teams who are much stronger at home than on their travels and that should give Cardiff the advantage.

Forest have not won on the road since mid-September and it’s an identical timespan since the Bluebirds suffered a defeat on their own pitch, so the Welsh club can boost their play-off hopes.

Rotherham United/Draw double chance away to Fulham
Rotherham have just enjoyed back-to-back home wins and can take that momentum with them to London to face a struggling Fulham side.

The Cottagers are battling on without a permanent manager in place, have not won in their last nine matches and we expect that sorry sequence to reach double figures.

Derby County to win away to Leeds United
Derby fans will be hoping this is finally the season when they make it back to the Premier League and they are in great shape, top of the table after the Boxing Day fixtures.

A run of 13 wins and only one defeat in 18 matches has highlighted the Rams’ credentials under manager Paul Clement and their superb defensive record – eight clean sheets out of 10 – will stand them in good stead at Elland Road.
