Southampton v Aston Villa - Both teams to score (11/10)
Manchester United v Middlesbrough - Under 2.5 Goals (6/5)
(all matches kick off at 19:45 GMT except Manchester United v Middlesbrough at 20:00 GMT):
Liverpool to win in 90 minutes at home to Bournemouth
Match No 4 of Jurgen Klopp's reign at Liverpool and no victory so far, but it would be very surprising and disappointing if his side cannot get the better of Bournemouth in normal time.
The Cherries have suffered two 5-1 drubbings in a row and although they were unlucky to lose 1-0 at Anfield earlier in the season, their confidence must have taken a huge knock as a result of those recent heavy beatings.
Manchester City -1 on the handicap at home to Crystal Palace
The Premier League title favourites offered little in attack in Sunday's 0-0 local derby at Old Trafford, but are a different proposition on their own pitch and should beat Palace with something to spare.
Alan Pardew's side have had a strong start to the season and are excellent away from home, but may just be levelling off after back-to-back defeats.
Southampton v Aston Villa - Both teams to score
We think Southampton will be too strong in this tie for a managerless Villa outfit who are struggling badly, but to boost the odds of the acca we will go for both teams to score.
There has been a goal for each side in all of Saints' last five league games and that record could extend to the Capital One Cup, especially with Villa producing their better form in knockout competitions over the last couple of seasons.
Manchester United v Middlesbrough - Under 2.5 Goals
Middlesbrough should be able to keep things tighter and provide United with a sterner test than Ipswich did when beaten 3-0 at Old Trafford in the previous round.
Aitor Karanka knows how to set up a defence but we do not see his side posing too many problems for the hosts at the other end, with United solid at the back at home this term.
